Sustainability

Wood is a valuable natural material. The protection and preservation of the ecosystem forest is therefore near and dear to us. We are certified according to PEFC-Standards (PEFC-04-31-1930) and FSC®-Standards (FSC-C112232). All our manufacturing processes work subject to the respective rules and criteria. According to the customers’ request we deliver a certified product and are proud to be able to offer FSC 100 % materials. Please inquire about the particular options. By doing this, we take a stand for the careful use of timber stock, the preservation of bio-diversity and sustainable forest management.

Attention to detail is our daily work. We have been working with wood for more than half a century – with great respect and expertise gained over generations. Founded in 1960, the traditional family-run company based at the foot of the southern Black Forest grew into a leading supplier of individually produced multi-layer and solid wood flooring. We still combine long-established craftsmanship with state-of-the-art production processes, and produce every single board individually by hand. We thus create an authentic aesthetic that takes into account and carefully accentuates the natural growth, the elegance and the uniqueness of the wood.

Quality

Our exclusive wooden flooring is not only produced individually and with high quality, but will also last for generations. Because not only is its appearance a decisive feature for maximum quality – what lies behind it and the production of the individual elements also plays a decisive role. We always place the highest of demands on our work throughout the entire process. Thus the thickness of the upper, visible, layer of our multi-layer flooring is at least 5.5 millimetres as standard. The drying process that we have developed is particularly careful and we always work the wood with a view to the best possible results and not maximum efficiency.
